A Smorgasbord of Topics in History and Science.
This is a new class which will run on Mondays from 3:00 to 4:20 pm.
Andrew Leopold, the tutor, was born in Melbourne in 1936. With a BAppSc and Dip Ed he served his bond in Victorian schools before travelling to Europe, including a period teaching in Switzerland. Returning to Australia he worked for a period as systems engineer for IBM before returning to teaching in Melbourne finishing as Deputy Principal of Eltham High School through to 1993.
He has taught variations of this class for many years at Nillumbik U3A.

My intention is to offer the class the choice of topics selected from the following list of topics that I have prepared since 2014.
I am starting it with Notable Books because a member of my online class remarked that it was the most interesting topic I have presented.
