U3A Manningham provides a stimulating learning and social environment for all members of the community. Membership is open to people who are interested in engaging with others in sharing educational, creative, leisure and social activities to keep their minds active. There are no ability limits and no entry requirements, though some classes may require some level of prior experience (see details in the Course Descriptions) – and there are NO examinations!

Want to learn a language or how to play bridge or the guitar? History? Need to know more about your computer, IPad or digital photo editing? How about strength training, ballroom dancing or yoga? You can do all these and more in the company of friends. At the moment we have over 170 different courses, both face-to-face and via Zoom.

Tutors and office bearers provide their services free. Costs are kept as low as possible. The annual membership fee is $70. This fee enables you to attend most classes with no additional course costs.

As a member of U3A Manningham you are entitled to enrol in courses throughout the year. Your membership fee covers the cost of courses. Small extra charges for materials sometimes apply.

Membership is per calendar year and must be renewed each year.
