Congratulations, Brenda, on becoming a tutor at U3AM. We know you as this year’s Tutor of Chinese Mandarin Level 1 – Advanced, but would you be able to tell us a bit more about yourself and your professional background?
Maryann Liethof is the tutor of a new course, Dancercise: I Like to Move It.
Her course offers a combination of exercise and dance moves that will give participants an all-round workout.
You are invited to a concert presented by The Orchestra of U3A Hawthorn (with David Keeffe as its conductor), Scenes From Far and Near, on 13 August 2023. This orchestra is made up of many retired Melbourne Symphony Orchestra musicians and if its past performances are anything to go by, this concert will be outstanding.
Stories are an essential part of life’s allure. Oil painting artist, Wilmore (Wil) Bajada, known to our members as the Tutor of our Oil Paintings course, invites you to an exhibition of his paintings at Warrandyte Community Centre, July 29 and 30.

The committee of management of U3A Melbourne City is pleased to announce that in Term 3 they will be giving Victorian U3A members the opportunity to attend four sessions with speakers from the Indigenous Unit at The University of Melbourne.
U3A Network of Victoria present regular online lectures. These two lectures relate to our use of digital technology.
Downsizing is a 6-week course which will be run as a hybrid with members both onsite and on Zoom. All onsite places at The Pines have been exhausted, but ZOOM places are available. The sessions will also be recorded and made available to all members.
