Paintings and Stories
Stories are an essential part of life’s allure. Oil painting artist, Wilmore (Wil) Bajada, known to our members as the Tutor of Oil Paintings course, delights in painting stories. The paintings portray a feature or mood, depicting people or landscapes with emphasis on detail. The paintings may stem from a tale told, a character portrayal, a song, an emotion, an event or a picture. Wil’s delectation is to paint the topic as understood or perhaps, modified by his imagination as his conception of the storyline matures.
Come along and view Wil’s paintings and read the story narrative to learn of the inspiration behind each piece. You will be intrigued by his work. As a bonus, the Warrandyte environment by the Yarra River, provides a relaxing opportunity for viewing both art and the surrounding beauty of nature.
