In October 2023 Lula Black (pictured above) graduated from Deakin University after successfully completing her Honours degree in Literature Studies. Her thesis was entitled: Representation of Women and How They Rebelled Against and Strategised Within the Patriarchy in 19th Century Literature. Lula, not prepared to sit on her laurels, is contemplating undertaking a PhD and is currently searching for a supervisor to oversee her doctorate.
