Milly joined Manningham U3A in 2010 attending the walking groups and later participated in painting with water colour and mandarin courses. She commenced teaching Chinese home cooking for summer school and joined the curriculum team in 2012. She is also learning Chinese Calligraphy and Painting from a Chinese Master.
Milly is interested in holistic health involving body, mind and spirit; she believes keeping physical and mental health at an optimal level is important to all throughout all stages of life.
Milly holds a Master of Educational Studies, Graduate Diploma in Business (Management), Bachelor of Applied Science (Advanced Nursing), Nursing and Midwifery Certificates.
She has extensive experience in nursing practice and education, curriculum development, mentoring nurses and educators. She coordinated and taught undergraduate and postgraduate nursing and midwifery courses in hospitals and universities.
She was an active member of various university and faculty boards and committees and chair of various school committees. She is still actively involved in an education committee as an external member.
