Migrant English Tutors needed

• Do you usually have 1 to 2 hours spare each week?
• Do you have a reasonable command of spoken English?
• Would you like to make a positive difference in somebody’s life and help them integrate into their new community?

If you answer YES to these questions, we invite you to join the Migrant English Program as a tutor.

To become a tutor, you need to enrol and complete a 6-session training course Workshop for Migrant English Tutor Training, listed under Special Projects. This begins in week 3 of Term 1 and will be held on Thursday afternoons from 1:30 to 4:20 pm. If you know of anyone who would like to tutor but is not a member of U3A Manningham, they could become an honorary member for this purpose.

Migrant English Coordinator needed

If you do not have regular times available to tutor, but would like to assist the Migrant English Program, please consider becoming the Migrant English Coordinator. As the current coordinator, I would be very happy to discuss the role with you.
