John Moore became a member of U3A Manningham in 1995. Soon after joining, he recognised the need for a group where members could discuss current events and everyday issues. In response, he founded the popular class Current Affairs – Behind the News.

John tutored the class for more than 20 years before stepping down. The group continues to thrive and still meets every Friday at 1:30 pm. John remained a valued and active member of the class until this year.

Sadly, John passed away on 2 June. He will be greatly missed.
