Dear U3A Members,
U3A Victoria is working to raise awareness of U3A and increase engagement with government, community leaders, and the wider public.
To support this campaign, we have invited both the Minister for Ageing and the Shadow Minister for Ageing to participate in online forums with U3A members.
Our first forum will feature Shadow Minister for Ageing, Jade Benham MP, on Tuesday 30 June, and we invite members from every U3A across Victoria to join us.

Forum Program
• Welcome and U3A overview – Anne Grigg, President, U3A Victoria
• Address by Shadow Minister for Ageing, Jade Benham MP
• Questions and Answers – including questions submitted in advance and live questions from participants
Why does attendance matter?
A strong turnout sends a powerful message that U3A is an important voice for older Victorians. Every member who attends helps demonstrate the scale, strength and value of our movement. This is also our opportunity to pose questions to the Shadow Minister on the Opposition’s approach to supporting older Victorians.
Our goal is simple: let’s have hundreds of U3A members online at 3.00 pm on Tuesday 30 June.
Please:

SAVE THE DATE FOR THE NEXT FORUM
Our second forum will feature the Minister for Ageing, Ingrid Stitt MP, on 1 September, 4.30pm. Further details related to the forum will be published in the July Network News.
Together, let’s show the strength of U3A across Victoria.
Live, Learn, Enjoy.
Anne Grigg
U3A Victoria President
