Join Travellers’ Tales by Zoom where our guest presenters share their photographs, experiences and stories from locations all over the world.
This year we visited the Western Australian wildflowers and the Savannah Way from Cairns to Darwin. We also had a trip to New Zealand. In the Northern Hemisphere we enjoyed a Trans-Siberian adventure, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, the Mediterranean Sea area of Sicily, France, Switzerland, and Eastern Europe from Bucharest to Budapest along the Danube River.
Last year our Australian destinations included the Kimberley, Kakadu, Fitzroy Island, Magnetic Island and Heron Island. The international destinations explored were Japan, Iceland, Morocco, India and Antarctica.
In the previous year presenters engaged members with their visits to South Korea, Romania and Bulgaria, South-West Western Australia, Madagascar, China, the Greek Islands, and the Wilds of Wiltshire in England.
At the end of each presentation, you can ask questions and add comments.

We welcome suggestions for different holiday destinations and encourage new members to share their knowledge and stories, if they would like to.
Travellers’ Tales offers the opportunity to see the wonders of the world. We often learn about the geography and geology of a location and its history, culture, religion, traditions and customs. In addition, we learn about new cuisines, the lifestyle of the locals and their arts and crafts, the economy, and peoples’ values and attitudes.
The Travellers’ Tales class is available only in Term 1 and Term 2 each year on the first and third Tuesday of the month at 2:00 to 3:30 pm.
