WordPress does not have a TAB function and Tabs can only be implemented by adding code into the text, which we want to avoid.
This Draft post reproduces a number of possible treatments to achieve a similar effect.
Tables and Preformatted Text block can both be used to give an acceptable outcome.

3. Using Preformatted Block Type
With preformatted text, monospace text is used, and spaces are displayed as entered, and not collapsed as is normally the case.
The text size can be set in Typography settings, but alignment may have to be redone.
