Our Committee of Management has established a steering committee to evaluate some new software called Member Wizard. This is with a view to transitioning to this software for membership, enrolment and class management during 2026.

Member Wizard has been adopted by U3A Victoria as its preferred software. Originally developed for use by Queensland U3As, it is already being used by early adopters in Victoria. The State Government has provided financial support so that the software is being provided free of charge to Victorian U3As.

U3A Victoria has specified its required functionality, and Member Wizard has contracted to further develop its software to meet these requirements. This will establish the recommended software for Victorian U3As on a proper commercial basis, not dependent on volunteer support.

The Steering Group comprises myself as Project Manager, Doug Wallace and Foong Sim Chin. Supported by an Evaluation Team, we will be putting the software through a thorough testing program before preparing user guides and a comprehensive training program.
