Membership renewal and 2027 enrolments

It’s nearly time to renew your membership and then enrol in classes for 2027. This year we’ll be using Member Wizard for both, so please read these notes carefully and keep them handy.

Step 1: Renew your membership

From about 19 October, Member Wizard will email full members an invoice for the $70 membership fee for 2027. (Membership is automatically renewed for Life Members and Honorary Members.)

Please pay as soon as you can. You won’t be able to enrol in any 2027 classes until your renewal is confirmed. Paying early will also help enrolment in November run smoothly.

If you do not have a working email address, we will post the invoice to you.

Tip: if the email doesn’t arrive by 23 October, check your junk or spam folder, then contact the Membership Team (details below).

Two ways to pay

Option A: Online (quickest)

  1. Go to our website: www.u3amanningham.org.au
  2. Click Member Wizard in the menu.
  3. Log in with your member number or email address.
  4. On the centre of the screen below your name, you should see Balance owing $70. Click on the button beside it reading Click here to pay and follow the steps on screen.
  5. (Do not press Renew Membership on the left-hand menu as that will cause a second invoice to be created.)
  6. Pay the $70 by credit or debit card.
  7. You can also pay by Direct Deposit – follow the directions in Member Wizard.

Option B: At the U3A Office

  • We accept credit or debit card (preferred, using our new card reader), cash or cheque.
  • You’ll fill in a short Membership Payment Form. Please bring your member number if you have it.
  • You can pay any time during office hours: 9 am to 3 pm weekdays.

Please note: there are no longer special payment days in Room 1. You can pay online or at the Office whenever it suits you.

Step 2: Enrol in 2027 classes

The mid-term newsletter will explain how to check your enrolment priority and how to enrol in classes through Member Wizard.

Key dates:

  • Around 9 November: your priority level will be available.
  • Around 9 November: the 2027 classes list will be available.
  • 18 November: Priority 1 Enrolment opens.

Summer School class enrolments happen at the same time as other enrolments but will not count toward the 3-class limit that will apply until that limit is lifted mid-January.
