U3A Manningham will be changing to a new membership program – Member Wizard – during the Term 1 holidays this year.

You can continue to use MyU3A in the normal way until mid-Term 1. There will then be a transition period during which enrolment changes and new memberships will need to be arranged through the Office. Member Wizard will be in operation when you return for Term 2.

Member Wizard is a private company that has been contracted by U3A Victoria and funded by the Victorian Government to provide free membership services to all Victorian U3As, and most will be taking up this opportunity. It will provide a modern interface designed specifically to provide the services required by U3As.

As a U3AM member, you will be able to access the Member Portal from our website. Once you have registered for the Portal, you will be able to enrol in or withdraw from classes, update your member details, manage absences, email tutors and class reps, and view documents relating to your particular classes or to U3AM as a whole.

As all current membership and enrolment data will be transferred from MyU3A into Member Wizard, we expect that the transition will be quite seamless. We will be providing introductory seminars for members this term, and these have been advertised separately. We will also be providing detailed training sessions early in Term 2 if you feel that you might need assistance in finding your way around the new system.
