The Multi-Instrument Club of U3A Manningham performed at the Manningham Family Festival at Finns Reserve on Sunday March 26th.

Our talented members, headed by tutor and band leader Peter Simondson, performed a repertoire of songs that included Stand By Me, When I Saw Her Standing There, Different Drum, Sway and I’m A Believer. The music was well received by the audience consisting of U3A supporters, family members, friends and visitors who braved the cold and wet on a Sunday morning to sing along to toe-tapping and hand-clapping music.

It was a first for the band, which was formed in 2022, to play in an outdoor setting; a first performance for the year, and the first act to open the celebratory family event organised by the Rotary Club of Templestowe. Well done, Multi-Instrumental Club!
