As part of an ongoing review process, the Priorities Subcommittee met in February to review the 2025 enrolment program and to assess the performance of the priority program to date.
The Subcommittee found that, overall, the program was working relatively well.
However, based on negative feedback from a number of members, the Subcommittee also recognised that the decision to remove the position of Co-Tutor had raised concerns regarding how they were identified and their role. After much discussion, the Subcommittee decided that the decision to remove this position had not created the benefits envisaged and should be reversed.
A submission to this effect was presented to the Committee of Management and approved on 18 March 2025.
Accordingly, U3A Manningham’s Enrolment Policy Version 9 has been replaced with Version 10. The only revision is the reinstatement of Co-Tutors with the same priority and benefits as previously.
